The fifth edition of the Credendo Trade Forum will take place at the Auditorium of the National Bank of Belgium in Brussels on Wednesday 13 November.

The fifth edition of the Credendo Trade Forum will take place at the Auditorium of the National Bank of Belgium in Brussels on Wednesday 13 November.

Two keynote speakers will be sharing their views on the global economic situation and climate change challenges:

  • Declan Costello, Deputy Director-General of the DG Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Commission, will speak on the priorities for the new European Commission
  • Dr Bertrand Piccard, Initiator and Chairman of the Solar Impulse Foundation, will share 1,000 cost-effective solutions for the planet

There will be two debates with experts, chief economists (BNP Paribas, Citi) and top executives of leading companies (John Cockerill, Engie Benelux, Blue Cluster, Colruyt Group):

  • Historically high public and private debt: should we be worried?
  • Climate change: threat or new economic challenge: the CEOs’ opinions

During the afternoon, also the outcome of the Credendo & Trends-Tendances export barometer will be presented.
